Have You Ever Read Gomi Taro?

      Do you know Gomi Taro, a picture book writer? I think everyone has read picture books when you are little children. He's one of the most famous picture book writers in Japan. And he's very famous around the world. The other day, I went to his exhibition in Okayama.

      He has a lot of works and many of them are translated in a lot of language. The exhibition had a lot of picture and works including original picture. His technique was very magnificent. It isn't just interesting story. For example, 『Presents Through the Window』, in Japanese,"Madokara Okurimono", has an interesting trick. Santa Claus carries presents for many kinds of animal. He gives a present a cap for fox because he looked at fox ears through window. But they are actually a crocodile back. Children are able to know this truth when they look at this book from another side. This trick is very interesting.

     Not only children, but also adults can enjoy Gomi Taro's works. I want you to read his works!

    I didn't know Gomi Taro so I haven't read his picture books. I'll read them and read aloud my children in the future. There is a thing that makes me wonder. Why is his name Gomi Taro?

Please watch out for too spicy food!

I often go to convenient store and buy several food. Especially, I usually buy spicy food such as fried noodles or ramen when I buy lunch. Do you know such products? I love spicy food.  If some very spicy products are sold, I definitely buy them. One day, I went to one long-established restaurant. We can eat very spicy tsukemen(I don't have any ideas how I write on tsukemen in English) there. The restaurant serve spicy tsukemen from 0 fire to 100 fires. If you want to eat, you can order 200 fires. At the day, I ordered tsukemen of 60 fires. And I could finished to eat. It was very very delicious. However I wanted to spicier one. Another day, I went to the same restaurant again to eat spicier tsukemen. I ordered tsukemen of 100 fires. The order was absurd. At the first, I thought I would able to finish to eat it.  BUT IT WAS WRONG. Pain from red pepper attacked my throat and stomach when I finished to eat just a half of it. Which Snack Do You Like, Nana-chicken, Fami-chiken, or L-chicken?

      Have you ever had chicken sold by some famous convenience-store? They are Nana-chicken, Fami-chicken, and L-chicken. I think all of them are very good. But probably it varies according to individual which you like.      I like Nana-chicken the best of all. Nana-chicken is very savory because of 11 kinds of seasoning (11 comes from 7-Eleven). I think the main point of Nana-chicken is its taste, one of Fami-chicken and L-chicken is its softness and juiciness. How Do You Play in Tokyo ?

     I'm going to go to Tokyo for about two weeks this spring. However, I do have not so many things to do. I'm going to stay at my  acquaintance's house at night. I don't know some places to spend time. But I want to spend a lot of money and I'll go to some famous spots such as Shinobazu Pond and Ameyoko.      Do you know some spots to spend time without money in Tokyo?
