How Do You Play in Tokyo ?

I'm going to go to Tokyo for about two weeks this spring. However, I do have not so many things to do. I'm going to stay at my  acquaintance's house at night. I don't know some places to spend time. But I want to spend a lot of money and I'll go to some famous spots such as Shinobazu Pond and Ameyoko.      Do you know some spots to spend time without money in Tokyo? It is not cheap to go to Tokyo from Hiroshima. I want to enjoy the period. Tell me, please!

Which Snack Do You Like, Nana-chicken, Fami-chiken, or L-chicken?

Have you ever had chicken sold by some famous convenience-store? They are Nana-chicken, Fami-chicken, and L-chicken. I think all of them are very good. But probably it varies according to individual which you like.      I like Nana-chicken the best of all. Nana-chicken is very savory because of 11 kinds of seasoning (11 comes from 7-Eleven). I think the main point of Nana-chicken is its taste, one of Fami-chicken and L-chicken is its softness and juiciness. Of course, I also like them.      When you go to 7-Eleven, Family Mart, or Lawsone, please buy their chicken!

Have You Ever Gone Fishing?

I used to fishing with my father and brother when I was a elementary school student. I become a junior high school student, and high school student... I got to be busy with study and didn't get to go fishing gradually. But I'm a university student now. I went to fishing with my friend for the first time in a long time the other day.      From the result, we didn't catch a few fish. We tried to catch fish with fake baits and targeted rockfish at night. We use a lot of colors of fake baits and moved to variety spots. However, we didn't catch one rockfish. There aren't any reasons. Justly, it was such a day. Fishing That's fishing. We will try to do another day.      If you can catch fish, you will be very grad! Around Hiroshima, Kurahashi or Oshima is popular fishing spot. Let's try!

New Year's Eve will come soon. What do you want to do? I'm looking forward to watch  Red and White Singing Battle on TV. In the TV program, a lot of singers will sing songs and play music which have been popular this year and traditional Japanese songs.       I have a singer I'm looking forward to watch. His name is Mafumafu. Do you know his name? He appears to the program for the first time. He is a singer who played and sang music on the Internet mainly. He seldom to appear on TV. However he is so popular that t ens of thousands fans come to concert when he hold. One of his  special feature is his drastically high voice. His voice is like a woman one.      If you will watch the TV program, please hear Mafumafu's songs!

Murakami Haruki

Do you know Murakami Haruki, a Japanese writer? He is expected to get Nobel Prize in Literature. His famous works are 『1Q84』, 『Kafka on the beach』, 『Norwegian Wood』 and so on. (I think his full-length works are boring.) This is secret! But his short stories are very easy to read and interesting.       I like 『Barn Burning』 very much. But I think you can't understand its true meaning. It's good. All of his works are mysterious and mystical! If you are interested in him, I recommend you to read short  stories at first.

The Borrower Arrietty

A movie I like the best is "The Borrower Arrietty". This movie was famous as a Ghibli movie. It was released in 2010. At that time I was a 4th grade student. Original story was wrote by Mary Norton and directed by Yonebayashi Hiromasa. Arrietty is a tiny girl dwarf living under the floor with her family. They can live borrowing anything from humans. As dwarves, being looked by humans means a hazard. However one day, she missed to be looked by a human boy Sho.  Although Sho tried to be friendly with them. But...  This movie drew the relationship between them: dwarves and humans. I love this movie because I can see unique story. We can see that dwarves live strong. When I see this movie, I can think I want to live strong too.

Have You Ever Read Gomi Taro?

イメージ
Do you know Gomi Taro, a picture book writer? I think everyone has read picture books when you are little children. He's one of the most famous picture book writers in Japan. And he's very famous around the world. The other day, I went to his exhibition in Okayama.       He has a lot of works and many of them are translated in a lot of language. The exhibition had a lot of picture and works including original picture. His technique was very magnificent. It isn't just interesting story. For example, 『Presents Through the Window』, in Japanese,"Madokara Okurimono", has an interesting trick. Santa Claus carries presents for many kinds of animal. He gives a present a cap for fox because he looked at fox ears through window. But they are actually a crocodile back. Children are able to know this truth when they look at this book from another side. This trick is very interesting.      Not only children, but also adults can enjoy Gomi Taro's wor...
